Nikolaos Tampouratzis

Nikolaos Tampouratzis is a computer scientist and post-doc researcher at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and he works as a freelance Computer Engineer. He received his Computer Science diploma (Ranked 3rd) from University of Crete (UoC, Greece) in 2012 with specialization in Hardware Design and Protocol Layers. He continued his studies in Technical University of Crete (TUC, Greece) where he received his Master diploma in Electronic and Computer Engineering in which he specialized in Computer Architecture and Hardware Design in 2014. From the same department he received his Ph.D (in 2018) with area of specialization the simulators for Heterogeneous Parallel and Distributed Systems. He has been involved for more than 8 years as a researcher in numerous European and National competing research programs (H2020, FP7, ARISTEIA) towards the design, development and validation of state-of-the-art technologies in embedded/hardware design and simulators.
