Matthias Jung is professor for computer engineering at Univeristy of Würzburg. He received the Diploma and PhD degree in electrical engineering from the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany, in 2011 and 2017, respectively. From 2011 to 2017 he was a researcher at the Microelectronic Systems Design Research Group in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department of Technische Universität Kaiserslautern. Since 2017 he is with the Embedded Systems Division of the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering in Kaiserslautern as Expert Engineer for virtual hardware engineering. His research interest are embedded system hardware and software engineering, autonomous systems, memory systems, as well as, SystemC based virtual prototypes.
