Juan Luis Aragón

Juan L. Aragón is an Associate Professor in Computer Architecture at the University of Murcia (Spain) since 2007. He received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Science in 1996 and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering in 2003, both from the University of Murcia (Spain). In 1999 he joined the Computer Engineering Department at the University of Murcia as an Assistant Professor. In 2003-2004, he did a 1-year post-doctoral stay as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Researcher in the Computer Science Department at the University of California, Irvine. He has also been a Visiting Researcher at EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland) in 2013; and a Visiting Researcher at Princeton University (NJ, USA) in 2015, 2017 and 2018. His research interests are mainly focused on energy-efficient architectures, accelerators and heterogeneous systems, microarchitecture design, reliable systems, and GPUs.
