Dr. Idoia de la Iglesia leads the Intelligence of Things team at IKERLAN, driving the development and integration of AI, IoT, Edge Computing, and 5G technologies into industrial solutions. She holds a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering (University of Deusto, 2019), focused on 5G V2X communications for Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS). During her PhD, she conducted research at Nokia Bell Labs and NEC Laboratories Europe.
Since joining IKERLAN in 2018, she has contributed to numerous research and technology transfer projects, enabling intelligent, connected, and autonomous systems across multiple industrial sectors.
