Dimitris Theodoropoulos

Dr. Dimitris Theodoropoulos obtained in 2003 and 2006 his Diploma and M.Sc degree respectively from the Electronic and Computer Engineering department at the Technical University of Crete, Greece. In 2007, he joined the Computer Engineering department of the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, where he worked towards his PhD. He is member of the HiPEAC NoE on embedded systems since 2009.

From 2011 Dimitris Theodoropoulos works as an affiliated researcher for the Telecommunication Systems Research Institute at the Technical University of Crete in Chania, as well as the Institute of Computer Science at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) in Heraklion (dRedBox H2020 project #687632, AXIOM H2020 project # 645496, DeSyRe FP7 project # 287611).

Dr. Dimitris Theodoropoulos has strong experience on IoT / edge-device / cloud application development, especially targeting location-based services. He has also experience on bringing research technologies to the market (project manager for the EDRA H2020 FET Innovation Launchpad project # 851631, technical manager for the REMAP Tetramax-founded project).
