Christos Sakalis obtained his BSc in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2013 and his MSc in Computer Science from Uppsala University in 2015. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Uppsala University, researching hardware security. Before that he spend some time at Codeplay (Edinburgh) working with compilers and autovectorization. He is one of the creators of the Splash-3 benchmark suite, a modern version of the well established Splash-2 suite.
