Tommaso Pacini received the degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa in May 2020. The thesis regarded the study and the development of an FPGA-based CNN hardware accelerator for the ESA CloudScout project. At present, he’s a PhD student of the VLSI lab inside the Department of Information Engineering of University of Pisa. The topics of his research concern the development of Machine Learning accelerators for on-the-edge applications, from model compression to hardware implementation.
