Towards the Next-Gen European Cloud: Open Platforms & Digital Sovereignty

The RISER project is developing the first all-European RISC-V cloud server infrastructure, significantly enhancing Europe’s open strategic autonomy. In this workshop, the third in the RISER series, presenters from FORTH, RISE, Semidynamics, SiPearl and CloudSigma will discuss building RISC-V systems from hardware to applications, as well as considering market trends and sovereignty issues.

This session is for industry representatives, academics and policy makers who want to get up to speed on the state of the art in RISC-V for the cloud. Attendees will learn how to build RISC-V systems from the ground up, discover IPs for the next-generation European cloud, find out about validating European silicon, and learn how to build a European AI agent, among other topics.
