To recognize the rich variety of entrepreneurial activity within the network, HiPEAC is launching its inaugural Innovation Awards. Successful applicants to the awards will be ranked and the top three submissions will be awarded a monetary prize, as follows:
- First place: €3,000
- Second place:€2,000
- Third place: €1,000
All submissions which meet the criteria will be recognized with a certificate and publicized in HiPEAC communications.
Eligibility
To be eligible for an award, candidates must have successfully monetized a research output or business idea. For example:
- technology licensing
- providing dedicated services to an existing company
- creation of a new company
- creating a marketable solution in direct response to the needs of a specific company
Technology transfer between partners as part of a publicly funded project is not eligible for the HiPEAC Innovation Awards.
The winners will be recognized during a ceremony at the HiPEAC conference in Glasgow (18-20 January 2027), as well as being promoted through HiPEAC’s communication channels.
