ACACES 2025 now open for applications

The twenty-first edition of the HiPEAC summer school (ACACES 2025), which will take place in Fiuggi, Italy on 13-19 July, is now open for applications. A limited number of grants covering registration and accommodation costs are available; for the chance to win a grant, apply by 1 May.

The Summer School on Advanced Computer Architecture and Compilation for High-performance Embedded Systems (ACACES) is returning to Fiuggi on 13-19 July for a week of courses by world-class computing experts.

The programme offers a range of courses covering the computing continuum from edge to cloud to high-performance computing, covering paradigms and platforms including quantum, in-memory computing and RISC-V, and providing perspectives on topics such as robustness, security, sustainability, among others.

This year’s courses are as follows:

The summer school will be kicked off by a technical keynote talk by Jan Rabaey (UC Berkeley) titled ‘The “compute continuum” and its energetics’. On Monday night, there will be an entrepreneurial keynote talk.
