HiPEAC

Programme now online for Computing Systems Week Tampere

Computation meets communication: join us in Tampere, Finland, for a Computing Systems Week focused on the internet of things (IoT). Register is open via the Computing Systems Week Tampere webpage.

Once again the HiPEAC community has lined up a great programme, this time with an IoT flavour.

Keynote talks by Laura Ruotsalainen (University of Helsinki), Teppio HemiƤ (Wirepas) and Ari Kulmala (Tampere University) will explore topics including non-cellular 5G and RISC-V. Technical sessions include:

  • automotive network system-on-chip (SoC) technologies
  • heterogeneous hardware acceleration for the IoT
  • machine learning across edge, fog and cloud for improved privacy and resiliency
  • the latest on processor design and RISC-V

There will also be a special session dedicated to European Digital Innovation Hubs, along with plenty of opportunities to network with computing systems experts from across Europe.

As usual, there will also be student activities, including the ninth edition of the HiPEAC Student Challenge, which focuses on IoT for everyone.

We look forward to seeing you in Finland!
