RISC-V hackathon at HiPEAC 2025

RISC-V, supported by sponsors Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and Openchip, is organizing an in-person hackathon on 20 January 2025 at the HiPEAC conference. This is a hands-on opportunity to dive into problem-solving using RISC-V based solutions, get access to great tools, and learn first-hand from experts.

Participants will have six hours to work on a challenge provided by the organizers onsite using resources the organizers will make available, to create their own solution. They will then have four days to refine their solutions and prepare a presentation before sharing their work in the BSC auditorium on Friday, 24 January from 09:30-12:00.

All participants will receive giveaways. In addition, those who present their solution on Friday will have the opportunity to visit one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe (MareNostrum 5).

The problems and resources will be available from 10 January 2025.
