HiPEAC adopted common research platforms for simulation and compilation. Through these platforms, the network encourages mutualization of development efforts and dissemination of research results. More information available on the following web sites.

	UNISIM Simulation platform Open, modular simulation framework (free software). Full system, cycle-accurate and transaction-level simulation of multicore processors.
	GCC Compilation platform The Free Software Foundation compiler suite (free software). HiPEAC partners developed key compilation passes, code generators and internal structures in GCC. Documentation and tutorial contributed by the network in the Wiki section.
	CoSy Compilation platform OpenCoSy is a compiler community initiative. It aims to enable and encourage users of the CoSy compiler development system to exchange experiences and share compiler technology components.
