Java has established a dominant position as the major programming
language for a wide variety of application areas.<br>
The language continues to evolve, while new APIs, libraries and tools
continue to be developed. We invite papers which cover all<br>
aspects of programming in Java. Both research papers and experience
reports are welcome. Papers must describe original<br>
work, and must not have been accepted or submitted for publication
elsewhere. Topics include but are not limited to:<br>
• Java Language and Systems<br>
• Software Engineering with Java<br>
• Applications in Science, Engineering, and Business<br>
• Agent-based Java Systems<br>
• Mobile Java<br>
• Java Practice and Experience Reports<br>
• Teaching Java Programming<br><br>
<u>Submission Guidelines<br>
</u>Four types of paper submissions will be accepted: research papers,
experience reports, industry papers, and demo papers.<br>
Papers which represent original, previously unpublished work are invited.
Both new ideas and case studies of the status quo are<br>
welcome. Submissions must be in ACM SIG Proceedings Format. Research
papers and experience reports are limited to<br>
10 pages, the other categories to 4 pages. For further details, please
