CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

International Workshop on
Multicore Software Engineering (IWMSE)
May 11, 2008, Leipzig, Germany

Homepage & program:
http://www.multicore-systems.org/iwmse

In conjunction with the 30th International Conference on
Software Engineering (ICSE), May 10-18, 2008

PURPOSE
=======
With the emergence of multicore computers, software engineers face
the challenge of parallelizing performance-critical applications of
all sorts. Compared to sequential applications, our repertoire of
tools and methods for cost-effectively developing reliable, parallel
applications is spotty. The purpose of this workshop is to bring
together researchers and practitioners with diverse backgrounds in
order to advance the state of the art in software engineering for
multi/manycore parallel applications.

KEYNOTE & PROGRAM
===================
Keynote Speaker: Ali-Reza Adl-Tabatabai, PhD
Senior Principal Engineer, Intel Programming Systems Lab
Title: "Transactional Memory: From Semantics to Silicon"

In addition, we have two tutorials and an exciting technical program.
Check it out here: http://www.multicore-systems.org/iwmse/program.html
