Call for Demos/Posters (RTAS'08)
 
RTAS'08 will host a demo/poster session on April 22, 08! This session
will be devoted to the demonstrations and presentations of preliminary
and ongoing research in the broad field of real-time and embedded
systems and computing. RTAS'08 is especially interested in
demonstrations and presentations of novel ideas, approaches, tools,
prototypes and applications. 
 
The main purpose of this session is to provide both academic and
industry researchers an opportunity to demonstrate and discuss
the-state-of-art and the-state-of-the-practice in real-time and embedded
systems. Demos and posters dealing with all aspects of real-time and
embedded technology and applications are welcome. These include, but are
not limited to:
 
Real-time sensor networks
Real-time computing and communication
Real-time scheduling and operating systems
Real-time middleware
WCET analysis
Language and compiler support for real-time and embedded systems
Formal methods
Distributed embedded systems
Real-time and embedded applications/benchmarks
Tools for real-time and embedded systems design and debugging
Hardware/software co-design for embedded systems
Case-studies
 
Important Dates:
 
Submission Deadline:          March 17, 2008
Acceptance Decisions:        March 26, 2008
Poster Session:                    April 22, 2008
 
Submission: 
 
Submission to the RTAS'08 Demo/Poster session should include an abstract
(1-2 pages) to describe what you will demonstrate or present. Submission
should be emailed to the RTAS'08 poster chair, Wei Zhang
zhang at engr.siu.edu. Please write "RTAS08 Demo/Poster Submission" in the
subject line of your e-mail.
