ICISTM is a forum for presentation of new 
research results and demonstration of new
systems and techniques in the broad field of information systems, information
technology, information management, and their 
applications. The conference aims to
bring together researchers, developers, and users 
from around the world in both industry
and academia for sharing state-of-art results, 
for exploring new areas of research and
development, and to discuss emerging issues 
facing business organizations in the
knowledge economy.
The First International Conference on Information Systems Technology and
Management- ICISTM was a two-day conference held 
in March 2007 in New Delhi. The
conference attracted over 120 participants from 
six countries. There were two keynote
speakers from USA, a workshop on technology 
leadership and technical sessions in three
concurrent tracks. The Second ICISTM was a 
three-day conference held in March 2008
in Dubai. The second conference attracted over 
130 papers from 40 countries. There were
three keynote speakers from USA and were four tutorials from USA and India. The
technical sessions were in two concurrent tracks. 
Both the conferences were organized
jointly by Institute of Management Technology, 
India and University of Florida, USA.
Riding on the success of the first two 
conferences, the 3rd ICISTM will be a two-day
conference in NCR Delhi. ICISTM-09 will, in 
addition to contributed papers, include
keynote presentations, special session, 
tutorials, workshops and panel discussion

Proceedings will be published by Springer 
Publications. All delegates who register with
full conference fees will be given a free copy of the proceedings.

• Tutorial proposal submission: 19th September 2008
• Acceptance Notification for Papers: 24th October 2008

• Camera ready copy and registration for the conference due: 17th November 2008

Manuscript Guidelines: Manuscripts should be 
formatted as technical papers up to 10
pages that describe research and/or case studies 
or best practices in various areas of
information systems, information technology and 
information management, and their
applications. Manuscripts must be PDF files with 
12-point font size, single column,
single spaced or higher, and margins of at least 
1 inch on each of the four sides.

All accepted
papers will be published in the conference 
proceedings and will be available at the
conference. ICISTM proceedings will be published 
by Springer in its Lecture Notes series.
All manuscripts should be original, unpublished work not currently under review
elsewhere. Authors not following these guidelines 
will have their papers rejected and
further action may be taken. Questions may be

Workshop/Special Session/Panel /Tutorial Proposals: Proposals for workshops

are also invited for special sessions
comprising three to five papers on a specific 
topic within the broad areas of information
systems, information technology and information 
management. Proposals for half-day
