Description

The proposed project is to port the Stanford Elk stream programming language (Streaming Language Compiler (http://sites.google.com/site/stanfordelk/home) to the Movidius Myriad platform.

The intern will cooperate with the designer of the Elk language and the Movidius team to understand how to modularise and abstract the Elk framework for ease of porting and will verify the functional correctness and performance of the compiler and the applications it compiles (http://sites.google.com/site/stanfordelk/benchmarks).

It is anticipated that the intern will also provide input on the required support for stream-programming languages for Movidius next generation processor and hardware design.
