Description

You will be investigating the fault-tolerance and radiation-hardening techniques in designing fully fault-tolerant ARM processor. The design techniques cover several layers in the design phase such as libraries, circuits, microarchitecture and architecture. The final stage of the internship is to apply some of these techniques to an existing ARM processor core.

Skills
- Capable of designing and characterizing libraries and circuits
- Knowledge of soft errors, Fault-tolerance, Radiation hardening, soft errors, and SOI technology
- Good knowledge of Verilog
- Knowledge of simulation and synthesis tools (e.g. Cadence, Synopsis)
