ParaPLoP 2009 - Workshop on Parallel Programming Patterns
From 1st Jan 70
You are invited to submit a paper for ParaPLoP 2009, a PLoP-style workshop on parallel programming patterns to be held in Santa Cruz, CA. Papers can describe one or more patterns, outline a pattern language,
analyze previously published patterns, describe case studies of using patterns to develop parallel software, or present experience mining patterns from significant parallel code implementations. Like PLoP, ParaPLoP will be organized as a set of writer's workshops. Moreover, submissions will usually be revised before they are accepted. Each submission will be assigned to a shepherd, who will help the author make revisions to increase the likelihood of acceptance. Those who are familiar with PLoP workshops also know we like to have a little fun, too. Visit the ParaPLoP website (http://www.upcrc.illinois.edu/workshops/paraplop09/index.html) to learn more and/or to submit a paper. The last date for submission will be May 13. Papers should be less than 15 pages. The only exceptions will be papers on pattern languages, in which case authors will need to select a subsection small enough to review. The workshop is co-organized by the Universal Parallel Computing Research Centers (UPCRCs) at Illinois and Berkeley. Both UPCRCs are funded by the Intel and Microsoft corporations.
