The objective of this internship is to define a profiling feedback loop for profile directed inter procedural optimization in a .NET virtual machine.

The expected output is to have a prototype implementation of:
- a profiler plugin in the virtual machine,
- a profile directed inter procedural inlining scheme for the install time compilation and just in time compilation.

The virtual machine is a .NET virtual machine featuring interpretation, just in time compilation and install time compilation or a mixture of these.
