Description

Heterogeneous multi-cores architectures provide unique capabilities, yet demands effective software tools to use these capabilities efficiently. We have developed a Multicore Streaming Framework (MSF) for effective and easy-to-use parallel programming that has been implemented on the Cell Broadband engine. We would like to explore the for effectiveness of this framework on Cell and on other (Power based) parallel architectures. We would also like to enhance the framework capabilities. The internship will include hands on experience on various streaming programming models in order to evaluate MSF.
