Description

ARM research has developed a cluster of 8 cores that can be instantiated a number of times to create a many-core solution. This project will use an ARM developer board and integrate as many clusters as possible. The clusters connects through AXI AMBA infrastructure and are implemented in FPGA. The project will do RTL changes to the systems DMA capabilities. The debug solution needs upgrading to support ARM CoreSight standard.
The final aim of the project is to do a number of benchmarks on the FPGA platform.

Requirements:
Good knowledge of:
* Embedded processor and peripherals
* Verilog and RTL simulations
* FPGA implementations using Xilinx tool flow
* System debug using developing boards
* C
* Assembler
* Script languages TCL and Perl
