The Operating System/Computer Architecture Interface Group at Barcelona Supercomputing Center has an opening for a 3-year post-doc position. The objective of this position is to research on the field of the interaction between the processor architecture and the operating system for future multithreading processors. In particular the candidate will focus on the area of High-Performance Computing (HPC) applications. In short, the position is intended for a computer systems researcher, to provide coordination for a team of PhD students and to develop new ideas.
We are looking for motivated individuals who have knowledge on: operating systems mainly in the job scheduling part, computer architecture, performance analysis, multithreading and multicore architectures and real-time systems.
