Topic: TriMedia is NXP’s VLIW platform. Currently, an effort is ongoing inside NXP to port GCC to the TriMedia and NXP will provide an open source instruction scheduler for this processor. The infrastructure for this scheduler has been prepared, and the aim of this internship is to implement the proper scheduling algorithm.

Skills required: Understanding of scheduling for VLIW-architectures, knowledge of GCC internals.
