Description

Topic: In video processing, the algorithms become more and more complex, and require more and more the manipulation of objects or complex data structures. Access and management of those structures are often not efficient because of the non locality and of the time required for their handling. The aim of this internship is to evaluate various hardware/software solutions to improve the performances of the memory hierarchy for those embedded applications.

Skills required: conception of processors, architecture, design

Skills appreciated: Some familiarity with Esterel language and tools.
