Software programming environment for neuromorphic accelerator

in

Area
Computer Science - Compilation.

Title
Software programming environment for neuromorphic accelerator

The candidate should hold a Ph.D. in computer science. Expertise in either optimization algorithms, or FPGA place & route algorithms is particularly appreciated.

This post-doc position is part of the Arch²Neu project, funded by the French National Research Agency. This project aims at investigating the potential of neuromorphic architectures for computing purposes, and particularly for signal-processing applications.

Research Assistant/Associate position in Verification and Language Support for GPU Programming at Imperial College London

in

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Assistant (pre-doctoral but must be close to completing a PhD) or a Research Associate (post-doctoral) to work on the European Union project CARP (Correct and Efficient Accelerator Programming).

Postdoctoral position in the field of Computer Architecture at Chalmers

University Assistant (Habilitation) Position in Parallel Processing

in

The Institute of Computer Science at the University of
Innsbruck, Austria, invites applications for a

University Assistant (Habilitation) position

with the opportunity for habilitation in the field of parallel processing

in the Distributed and Parallel Systems Group (DPS).
This is a 6 year university position starting on Nov.

Graphics Technology Researcher

Codeplay are working on a variety of real-time graphics projects. We are evaluating next-generation rendering techniques for games on various potential GPU architectures. This involves work on graphics technology, as well as our core compiler work. We don't need compiler skills for this position, but it would help.

Codeplay is undertaking a large R&D project with European academics and small companies to investigate future GPU architectures and rendering techniques. This would be a good position for someone who is interested in research in a combined academic/commercial environment.

Graduate Compiler Developer

Codeplay often hire new developers to work on compilers for GPUs. This is not a skill taught at university, so we are looking for smart programmers to learn how to write compilers for GPUs.

There is a big move across the technology industry towards GPUs for processing. In games, GPUs are delivering increasingly stunning levels of detail. In smartphones, GPUs are heading rapidly towards games console levels of graphics quality.
